Sustainability at the Mill

Energy
for the future

We have chosen to preserve every day what has inspired us and allowed us to grow since 1955: the vibrant energy of wheat and the land from which it comes.
An ambitious energy efficiency project in continuous evolution, blending technological innovation, love for our land, and respect for the environment.

« Just as we are committed to enhancing every day all the nutrients of wheat through our flours, we are also active and focused on a more sustainable future for our company and the well-being of everyone.»

Our commitment

The future is

photovoltaic

The self-production of clean energy is a significant step we have decided to take by installing 2,630 ground-mounted photovoltaic panels at the Albinea and Parma facilities, with a nominal power of 999,998 KW in Borzano di Albinea, Reggio Emilia, and 748 KW in Vicofertile, Parma.

Our photovoltaic systems have helped avoid 993 tons of CO2 emissions over the course of a year, equivalent to 49,643 trees.

Green in every way

a diversified
support

Minimizing environmental impact often requires action on multiple fronts, which is why we have decided to source from companies that select 100% renewable sources, in order to have clean energy for use in both our production facilities and the rest of the company, with the aim of reducing the amount of oil used and the carbon dioxide released into the environment.

We don't stop here...

Grain by grain.
Towards a greener future

These are the first steps of an ecological transition path for the Mill, in order to preserve the invaluable resources of our planet. We aim to go further and further, without ever stopping at the goals achieved.
